Kelly has been a Melvindale resident for over 38 years. She graduated from Melvindale High School in 1987 and then from Detroit Barber College in 1989. She works as a dental assistant. Kelly served on the Economic Development Corporation and is currently serving on the Building Authority. Kelly has a 13 year old daughter who attends Melvindale Schools and is involved in cheerleading. Kelly’s family has been part of Melvindale for over 55 years. Her father was active within the community and served as a Melvindale Police Officer for 24 years. Kelly and her daughter enjoy volunteering to help those in need.
